Srećni smo uvek kada se prijavi dovoljan broj studenata humanističkih nauka za naš program podrške deci bez roditeljskog staranja

Za ovaj ciklus danas obučeno još 20 studenata i sada imamo 45 parova student/dete

Još njih 15 je na čekanju a nova saradnja i prijave očekujemo tokom februara!

Važno je da pokrijemo svu decu u beogradskim domovima kojima ovakakv vid podrske treba, a i u Beloj Crkvi

Sve pohvale za profesorku Anu Grbić sa “Više škole za socijalni rad” , čijih se 15 studenata prijavilo!

Takodje veliko hvala profesorki Snežani Svetozarević koja je prepoznala značaj programa za njene studente i zahvaljujući njoj, ovaj program će uskoro postati jedan od obaveznih programa za stručnu praksu na Filozofskom fakultetu, psihologija!

We are always happy when a sufficient number of humanities students apply for our program to support children without parental care. For this cycle, 20 more students were trained today and now we have 45 student/child pairs. Another 15 of them are pending, and we expect new cooperation and applications during February! It is important to cover all the children in Belgrade homes who need this kind of support, and also in Bela Crkva.

Congratulations to Professor Ana Grbić from the “College of Social Work”, whose 15 students applied!

Also, a big thank you to professor Snežana Svetozarević who recognized the importance of the program for her students and thanks to her, this program will soon become one of the mandatory programs for professional practice at the Faculty of Philosophy, Psychology!

Definisali smo urađeno, otklonili nesuglasice i podelili savete.

Saznali da se neki slepi menjaju iz korena: neki koji su svima nalazili manu, počeli su da uočavaju prave vrednosti i da konačno budu srećni, van depresije! Od nekih slepih studenti uče mnogo toga! Neki su toliko bliski sa volonterima, da su postali pravo bliski, kao najbolji prijatelji!

Najveći benefit je što svi napredujemo u ovim procesima, učimo  i odlično se družimo!

May 23, 2023, A meeting held with students volunteers who work and provide support to young visually impaired individuals

We clarified what has been accomplished, resolved discrepancies, and shared advice. It was revealed that some visually impaired individuals are undergoing profound changes: those who used to find fault with everyone are now recognizing true values and finally experiencing happiness, free from depression! Students are learning a lot from some of the visually impaired individuals. Some have formed such close bonds with volunteers that they have become true friends, akin to best friends!

The greatest benefit is that we all progress in these processes, learn, and enjoy each other’s company tremendously! Special thanks to Dunja Stekić for supervision.

And once again, we invite you to join us for a gathering tomorrow, on Wednesday, May 24th, at Konoba Akustik, starting at 7:00 PM.

Zahvaljujući vlasnici TOCOLORO DANCE ACADEMY i velikom umetniku Bojani Markovic, postavili smo kutiju za donacije u njihovim prostorijama u Masarikovoj 5 a za podršku programu za decu bez roditeljskog staranja koji se uveliko širi širom Srbije

A ko se nije isprobao u plesu kubanskom, isprobao razne ritmove sa ovog podneblja, kačimo i link i toplo preporučujemo da priuštite sebi ovakvu jednu školu plesa i razgalite dušu i telo.

Thanks to the owner of TOCOLORO DANCE ACADEMY and the great artist Bojana Markovic, we set up a box for donations in their premises at Masarikova 5 a to support the program for children without parental care, which is expanding widely throughout Serbia

And for those who have not tried themselves in Cuban dance, have tried various rhythms from this climate, we have uploaded the link and we strongly recommend that you treat yourself to a dance school like this and pamper your body and soul.

Danas je akcenat bio na pisanju. Deca su pisala o tome kojih sve 5 ciljeva žele da ostvare u narednih godinu dana. Neki su pisali i  kako planiraju da ispune te ciljeve. Ovo je jujedno bila i jedna od vežbi koje služe za vežbanje pisanja.

Sačuvali smo papire sa njihovim ciljevima, koje planiramo da im vratimo pri završetku projekta, ali ćemo ih podsećati na zapisane ciljeve.

U drugom delu aktivnosti sledio je sportski program na terenu.

Zahvaljujući našim studentima volonterima, i mi smo se prisetili školskih dana Ponosni smo na ozbiljan rad i postignute rezultate!

Another Weekend Dedicated to the Little Ones

Today’s focus was on writing. The children wrote about the 5 goals they want to achieve in the next year. Some also wrote about how they plan to accomplish these goals. This was also one of the exercises for practicing writing.

We’ve kept the papers with their goals, planning to return them at the end of the project, but we’ll also keep reminding them of their written goals.

In the second part of the activity, a sports program followed on the field.

Thanks to our student volunteers, we recalled memories about our school days. We are proud of the serious work and achievements!

Zadovoljstvo nam je da podelimo detalje sa svake grupne radionice za mališane iz doma u Beloj Crkvi, jer naši volonteri, psiholozi, obavljaju sjajan posao – od odabira tema do kombinovanja aktivnosti i svega ostalog.

Kao prvi zadatak mališani su imali jedan simpatičan enerdžajzer tokom kog su napravili jedan talas, u kome svaka osoba sa desne strane treba da rukama imitira pokret osobe koja je započela krug.

Zatim su imali zadatak da zamisle kako su na planeti gde su se polovi zamenili i pitali ih šta bi radili tog dana da su drugačijeg pola, čime bi se bavili i šta bi oblačili. Cilj je bio da ih naučimo da razlike između polova nisu velike i da ponašanje i postupci ne treba da zavise od toga kom polu pripadamo.

Nakon toga su naučili kako da traže ono što žele, pa smo pisali dobre i loše načine na koje se to radi i naučili ih pet koraka koje bi trebalo proći kada želimo nešto da zamolimo neku drugu osobu. Fokus je bio na tome kako da se obraćaju  osobi koja se ophodi prema njima onako kako ne bi želeli.

Nakon uspešne radionice, mališani su se družili sa volonterima ispred doma.

Praise for Our Volunteer Psychologists and Children from the Institution for Children without Parential Care in Bela Crkva

We are pleased to share details from each group workshop for the little ones from the Institution for Children without Parential Care in Bela Crkva, as our volunteers, psychologists, are doing a fantastic job—from selecting topics to combining activities and everything in between.

As their first task, the children had a charming icebreaker where they created a wave, in which each person on the right side had to mimic the movement of the person who started the circle with their hands.

Next, they were tasked with imagining a world where genders were reversed, and they were asked what they would do that day if they were a different gender — what activities they would engage in and what they would wear. The goal was to teach them that the differences between genders are not significant and that behavior and actions should not depend on the gender to which we belong.

Afterwards, they learned how to assertively express their desires. We discussed both positive and negative ways to do this and taught them five steps to follow when asking someone for something. The focus was on how to address a person who treats them in a way they wouldn’t want.

Following a successful workshop, the children spent time socializing with the volunteers outside the orphanage.
